Q: How much is your monthly lease payment for your 2009 Subaru Forester?
What was your down payment and which model did you get?

A: Subaru's hold their value very good so they are great cars to lease. But lease deals change so much that it's best to just hit up your local dealer and see what the best they can offer. Leases are complicated and with the economy the way it is, not many companies are offering leases.

Q: how do i install a autostart AS-2775 into a 2009 Subaru Forester?
how do i install a autostart AS-2775 into a 2009 Subaru Forester

A: Have you first checked with your Subaru dealer to see if there is a remote starter available for the Forester. I know they offer them for some models and the wiring is already there so installation is much easier.

Q: subaru forester 2009 battery dies after 3 wks?
Hi - any one know why the subaru forester 2009 battery dies if you leave the car parked for 2.5 wks to 3 wks? seems like a bad flaw.

A: This is not a typical behavior of any vehicle. For the battery to go flat it needs to have a 12v draw acting against it. This needs to be found and corrected. Review your owner's manual in case a switch/setting has been made by you inadvertently causing the problem.

Q: How do I plug my ipod into my 2009 subaru forester?
forester with navigation package

A: You will need an auxiliary cable (double sided head phone cable). Somewhere near your car stereo you should see the letters "Aux" or a headphone port and this is where you would plug this cable in. So you plug this cable in your ipod (or any audio device) and into the car. You can buy this cable for 1.57 on ebay with free shipping!! And they work cause i got one already. Below is the link. Or there is a device that you can buy that you plug into the ipod that will transmit into your car's radio..but there is usually static. So this auxiliary cable is perfect for you. So if you need the rca cable, the auxiliary cable at Walmart in the car audio section comes with it...just make sure it does or buy it seperately on ebay.

Q: turbo 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder vehicle 2009 Trebecca or 2009 Forester Subaru ?
Pros, cons Noticed on the 2009 Forester the sunroof was huge and Navigation system was better! on the 2009 Trebecca liked the 6 cylinder option better than the 2009 Forester 4 Cylinder Turbo... what runs better 4cylinder Turbo or just the regular 6 cylinder? A: As far as the engine goes, the Tribecca is a bigger, heavier car so the Forester XT is a much better performer. The numbers are deceiving but the Forester is pretty damn quick. But it really depends on what your needs are. A tribecca will give you more room inside for a more comfortable ride. Gas difference is a couple dollars a tank so don't even worry about that. In the end you just need to go out and drive them and decide for your self. It's free to test drive and that's the only way to get a feel for both cars.

Q: What component(s) do I need to add to improve the audio in my 2009 Subaru Forester XT?
I was quite surprised how bad the audio is in this car. I haven;t had a new car in years that didn't have a decent-enough radio and speakers. Not sure what the specs are on the radio and speakers currently installed. It's a 4 speaker system and the radio has dealer installed ipod interface. Not sure if an amp is all I need, or a deck, speaker, tweeters. I am not looking for the best radio, just something better than it is now. I don't want to go to the Big Box ans ask questions, because I know the only thing they'll tell me that would help is to replace it all.

A: You'd be surprised how much improvement can be made by just replacing all 4 speakers. Alternatively, a good pair of component speakers just in the front can also make a dramatic difference. Just shocked to hear how low quality the stock audio system is in an 09 Forester. Consumer Reports gives the car such high marks but it sounds like the audio in the car isn't up to the level as the rest of the car.

Q: Why did Subaru still uses 4-speed AT on its latest 2009 Forester unlike its competitors?
The others has 5-speed AT or more! The others like RAV4, CRV, Outlander has 5-speed AT or more!

A: They have a 5EAT on the legacy's but I'm guessing unless it shows better mileage or performance, there is no reason to change. Both RAV-4 and CR-V have AWD systems that are a joke. They run FWD till the rear slips so maybe the 5 speed suits them better. If AWD is important to you, do your self a favor and don't even consider the other two. Subaru has made AWD vehicles for decades and now has one of the best systems on the market.

Q: Trailer hitch for 2009 2.5X Touring Subaru Forester?
Does anyone know if I can buy a generic hitch for the Forester or do I have to buy the Subaru hitch? The Subaru hitch at the dealer is about $350 and a generic one can be as cheap as $50. Please let me know, we want to start towing around the sea-doo!

A: There are a few.
