Q: Which AWD car should I get?
I have found:
2009 Suzuki SX-4 Crossover TOURING (gps and 3-way on demand AWD, remote engine start)
2008 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport(all time AWD, roof racks, speed sensetive steering.)
2008 Mercury Milan Premier V6 (all time AWD, leather, sunroof)
2008 Subary Legacy (all time AWD, power seats)
I am leaning towards the SX-4 because of the GPS and remote start, but I also love the Milan and the Outback Impreza...
SO torn.
A: The Outback and the Legacy are the two best.
I wouldn't give up a good car just to have a NAV system or a remote starter. I would just buy a Garmin or some other portable GPS and just try to deal without a remote start or have it installed.
Q: Is mitsubishi lancer gts 2009 with CVT good?
I know it may not be the best compact car but I honestly don't fancy the look of a honda civic although many told me that it is an excellent car with good performance n good milage. If I hv to make a choice between the gts, mazda 3, corolla s 09, and subaru impreza 2.5i, which one is will be the best choice? I hope the gts won't be the worst among these (under $20000) cars becuz I do fancy it, but I'm lookin for genuine opinions and advices for my research before my actual purchase. tell me what u think. thanks a lot!!
A: Both my son and daughter have the Lancer..It has been a very good car with no problems.They both are 2008 but have been shop free.For the money you get a lot of car ....
Q: Whats a pretty nice, good looking cheaper car?
I'm almost old enough to drive and have been looking for a nice car like a Subaru Impreza or Ford Focus. Those are the 2 cars I've been looking at to get, but I wanted to look into different kind of cars. I want a newer 2000-2009 car that can be modded with a body kit and such. The price range I'm looking for is $4,000-$10,000.
A: the new Ford Focus does not handle as well as the older models
Subaru is much more reliable and fun to drive
Q: loud exhaust in cabin at around 2000 rpm?
have a 2.0RS subaru impreza (2009). just installed a new 2.25" custom catback with resonated midpipe. i noticed that when i put load on the engine, at around 2000rpm the exhaust gets loud (you can hear the bassy-ness in the cabin) but at around 3000rpm onwards its gone. is this typical of new exhausts breaking in? or is there something wrong with my piping? if i want to tone down the bassy-ness at around 2000rpm will changing to a longer resonator help?
@zeropope - thanks for the quick reply. is there a recommended resonator length? im getting loud exhaust noise at around 2000rpm, so I'll try to extend the resonator longer but not sure by how much.
A: If its a small resonater thats probably the cause, changing to a larger resonator will take away most of the bass-drown, if not all of it.
Q: Which car should I get?!?!?
A 2009 Subaru Impreza, or a 2009 Toyota Corolla?!?!?!
I love them both equally, but I want to know which one is a better deal for the money, for safety, for MPG, and comfort. I'm not too picky. . .
A: IMPREZA
It's safer, and more fun to drive. You get better deals on the Impreza, while most dealers won't even give you incentives for the Corolla, because of their popularity.
The impreza has a better built cabin, and it's more stylish.
Q: VW GTI 2009 or Subaru Impreza WRX 2009?
I live in a snowy state and I need a car that would get me to my work on daily basis, which is kind of uphill drive.
which would do better the GTI with all season performance tires ( I can change it to snow tries if it makes that much of a difference) or the WRX?
I still can't decide, I love them both, please help
A: The GTI is a great money for power car i forget but its like 26,000 or 28,000 for a fully loaded everything under the sun model. i have a 1998 GTI and a 2006 GTI, i love these small fun hatchbacks. The WRX has its good points to it has 4 doors (if u can find them the GTI has a 4 door model) which are nice if u have kids. the WRX will run better in snow and loose gravel if u live where u will encounter those often.
the deal breaker for me if i was in your shoes would be do i live in a place it snows a lot if so buy the WRX if not get the GTI.
Q: Does any one like the new shape Subaru Impreza because i hate it (the 2009) model?
A: I really dont like them.. i like the 2004 -05 model. those are nice

A: Subaru, defiantly.
Subaru are the best cars around. I've had two. I loved the first one but i got the new model liberty in 08 so i had to sell the other one (I still cry about it). My first one was an Imprezza and it was the best car ever. Also very safe and ecconomical. Worth the extra three grand every time.
Subaru are special cars, nissan are normal, good but normal. buy a subi. they're brilliant!!!

Q: 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i stock radio?
I just bought a brand new 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i 4 door sedan with the premium package. When I bought it the radio would display the radio frequency, station name, song title, and artist name in the display screen. I pushed the text button, and it stopped doing that. One would think that pushing the button again would reset it, but apparently it does not. I know that I can switch between PS, RTS, and radio frequency mode, but after cycling through all 3 modes multiple times, I cannot get back to the mode showing the song title and artist which I really liked. Does anyone know which mode would display the song title and artist or better yet how to get back into that mode on my new radio?
A: Sounds like you originally were looking at the display, from being tuned in to a satellite station. If your car came equipped (as a lot of new ones do these days) with Serius radio, I would recommend flipping through those stations.
Q: 2009 Subaru Impreza Speaker Size?
I just purchased a 2009 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and I want to replace all 4 of the stock speakers in the front and rear door panels. One problem, I can't find the speakers size information anywhere!!! I checked the manual and all over the internet with no avail. I really dont want to remove the door panels just to measure the size, so if anyone has this information I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
