Q: Saturn Outlook or Subaru Tribeca???
I am buying a new car next month and wanted to know if any owners of the Saturn OUtlook and Subaru Tribeca could give some feedback. I like the look of both cars but want to know about the ride...are they comfortable? I have two toddlers also so I need a good bit of room in the back seat. Thanks!!

A: Since you have kids, I say stick with Subaru. It has better reputation for safety. Besides the interior is 100% better than Saturn

Q: How much did you pay for your 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca Limited 7 Passenger?
and where did you buy it?

A: http://reviews.cnet.com/suv/2007-subaru-b9-tribeca/4505-10868_7-32027762.html

Q: nissan murano or subaru tribeca???
both limited, about same miles and yr, and $ , which do u guyz have had or would prefer.

A: I really like the quality and experience with the Subaru's I've had and known about. I would very much recommend the Tribeca. I have test driven one and was very impressed with it. The are low maintenance and great driving. Good luck!

Q: Should I buy a Volkswagen Passat or a Subaru Tribeca? HELP!?
Confused, like them both. Help!

A: Recent VW's have had a lot of reliability problems - I wouldn't go near one for that reason. Too bad, otherwise nice cars. Beyond that, these are totally dissimilar vehicles, the Passat is competing more with the Legacy than the Tribeca, the Tribeca competes with the Touareg than the Passat. Personally, I prefer cars over SUV's as I don't go off road nor do I tow anything, cars handle better and are more efficient, as well as less expensive.

Q: Subaru Tribeca or Toyota Sienna??
Have 3 kids but still want something stylish. What's nicer?

A: you cant really compare those 2 cars they are completly different, i say go with a toyota 4runner they are very nice a lot of power and very safe

Q: How do I disable the audible seat belt alarm on my 2007 Subaru Tribeca B9?
I've researched this problem online and here is most promising article that I found: http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/cockpit-cabin/144657-annoying-seat-belt-chime-fix.html Unfortunately I did EVERYTHING that was suggested by everyone, and nothing has worked. Another article (http://www.ehow.com/how_4536588_seat-belt-chime-alarm-subaru.html?ref=fuel&utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=ssp&utm_campaign=yssp_art) included opening and closing the drivers side door...also did not work. Any help on this annoyance would be greatly appreciated! :-) *** Just a side note, I do wear my seatbelt regularly I just don't want to be blasted by this alarm on the instances when I do need to remove it.

A: Find the car's fuse panel. Often, the seatbelt chime relay will be near or attached to this panel. It will be under the dash somewhere. Let your ears guide you to the right one. You will probably be able to feel it vibrating while it is singing. Pull the relay out. Done. No other side affects expected.

Q: What is that cute song on the gay Subaru B9 Tribeca commercial that airs on LOGO?
If it is a real song...I want it! I have tried searches. I only got reviews, comments, and previews of the commercial... hopefully someone will know..if not I guess I will call Subaru

A: The song is Dust in the Wind and it is by Kansas. Lyrics follow: ----------- I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind. Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind [Now] Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky It slips away, and all your money won't another minute buy. Dust in the wind, all we are is dust in the wind Dust in the wind, everything is dust in the wind. ---------- I think this link will take you to a cover bands version of the song.: http://www.kansasfans.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index&req=getit&lid=17

Q: Best Subaru Dealership in Worcester or Shrewsbury Massachusetts?
I am looking to purchase a new Subaru Forester, Impreza, WRX, Outback, Tribeca or Legacy in the Worcester, Shrewsbury, Central Massachusetts areas. I've heard that Patrick Subaru has the best prices and service. What do you all think?

A: I can't really help as I DON'T buy new cars, BUT Haddad has always done me well on stuff for my 2001 Outback H-6 3.0 VDC McIntosh. they're in Pittsfield.

Q: How are Subaru's for mild to medium off road?
I'm thinking of getting a B9 Tribeca. 99% of the time for on-road driving, but a couple times a month I need to get up a not too tough rocky road. The 8.4" of ground clearance of the 'beca is good enough, but will it spin wheels if one or two break loose? Or will Subaru's AWD system control the center differential and will all the electronic traction and stability control systems work with the ABS to keep it from losing traction?

A: Compared to suv's, the b9 would be a much better on-road choice in terms of price, fuel economy, comfort, performance etc...Off road the b9's AWD system and (relatively) light weight will get up some real nasty roads, the only thing that can trip up the B9's AWD are things so steep and twisted you would never expect any vehicle to navigate it successfully.

Q: Does anyone work at the Subaru factory?
I have orderd a 2007 B9 Tribeca and was wondering if I can find out when it will be here. I ordered the car on 6-21. Thanks!

A: I'm sure someone does......

Q: What is the ugliest car of the last 20 years?
My choices are the Pontiac Aztec: http://www.edmunds.com/media/news/column/letterstotheediors/02.jul/02.pontiac.aztek.f34.500.jpg and any Subaru with this grill: http://gallery.railroadsim.net/data/media/26/rrs_Subaru_Tribeca.jpg

A: Definitely the Aztec, i have heard so much on how ugly it is, haha. Although people say the Toyota echo is pretty ugly too, but i have one, hehe

Q: Can you name some VERY UGLY new cars currently available?
In your opinion, what are some very ugly new car models currently being offered? I'm not talking about old cars, pick cars that are currently in production! Thanks. I'll start: SUBARU TRIBECA

A: Toyota Prius Toyota Echo Ford Focus (sedan) Pontiac Aztec Honda Element (before matching body panels) Subaru Baha Subaru Tribeca Subaru WRX (2008) Pontiac G6 (base model sedan) Scion xB and xA Chevy Cobalt (base model sedan) Mitsubishi Galant (2007) Chevy Malibu Max Mitsubishi Lancer (base model/previous generation) Toyota Solara (convertible) Chrysler PT Cruiser Chevy Monte Carlo (too large to be a coupe) Chrysler Sebring (2008) Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Hummer H1/H2/H3

Q: How does Subaru stack against mainline SUVs? Specifically an Explorer?
We have a 6 ton boat, and use a steep grassy boat-ramp. Sometimes cars get stuck on the ramp, and don't have the traction to get up even without a trailer... but our Ford Explorer has always been able to pull our boat out and up the ramp without breaking a sweat. I am curious as to how a Subaru would do in the same situation. I've always pictured Subaru SUVs (Tribeca and Forester) like cross-overs that wouldn't have the weight, muscle, and 4-wheel-low capability needed to tow a 6 ton boat around. Just curious if anyone has experience with Subaru SUVs and what they're capable of. Oops! Ya 6 tons is a little heavy did a bad conversion from pounds to tons... 2.45 tons is the boat, plus a trailer which itself will probably bring the empty weight of boat and trailer to about 3 tons...

A: The Subaru cars or SUV are not designed to tow such things. At least you have to put a hatch to carry the load. I remembered that towing limit on a Subaru is around 2000 lbs (at the maximum safety limit). The horsepowers did not really give anything on towing; but if you stuck, the wheel of the subaru may get some free spin (which may cause both computer to kick on the traction control or burning the bearing cap). Look at the link below, search for trailer towing....

Q: Anyone here own a subaru legacy and been in an accident with it?
I'm on the verge of buying a legacy, however, I'm nervous about being down low to the ground. I'm have jeep cherokee...so I'm used to the height (which make me feel safer). I know Subarus are safe, but has anyone witnessed or lived through an accident with a Subaru? I know the forester and tribeca are SUV's and are higher, however, I think those are more like family cars...don't u think? I'm 22 and single.

A: Subaru is the SAFEST car on the road. My legacy wagon was hit in the front and no one was injured. There where 3 adults and a child in the car. I have owned 4 subarus and absolutely love them. Excellent in the winter, Excellent in the summer, good on gas, Very reliable if you do the regular maintenance. If buying used, make sure it has all service records. Some subaru owners think they dont need to perform regular maintenance and you will end up with a car needing a lot of work right away. But if well maintained the car will last over 300k miles easy.

Q: What kind of mid-sized SUV should I buy?
I need a do-it-all mid-sized SUV/CUV. Comfortable and safe for family trips and daily commuting, with a bit of off-road ability. I want a modern, safe, family, sport utility vehicle, sports car, commuter, luxury vehicle that handles great. (too much to ask? ) I’m willing to part with up to $40K and a few $K difference between vehicles won’t be a big swinger for me. Value is more important than price. ·Doesn’t need to have awe-inspiring off road capabilities. I don’t need a low range, but I do need something to lock the center differential and control wheel spin on dirt roads with some rough and rocky spots. 8” of ground clearance would be sufficient. Some CUVs qualify, others don’t. ·As a matter of principle, I’d like better mileage than the typical Explorer/Envoy gets. Plus- they are both a bit bigger than I need. I'm thinking Subaru Tribeca.

A: I am going to hate myself for this reply... because I personally Love Americans and American car companies and I really want them to succeed... However.... I am a Car Junkie... have been one forever... always will be. I have thought about your question and there is only one vehicle that keeps screaming at me... and I think that a Toyota Highlander Hybrid would be PERFECT for you. It is Midsize, looks great, Handles great, is just under your price point, is very comfortable, will have a great resale value when you are done with it eventually, has LOTS of power, good on and off road capabilities, and with the Hybrid Option gets Fantastic fuel economy! These start in the upper 20s and with the Hybrid option, and plenty of bells and whistles should be about 36-37K. Reliability??? please... its a Toyota... If you HAVE to have an SUV capable of Locking a differential for serious Rock Crawling... then you have to get a Jeep.... but for 99.999% of the time I firmly believe that you will be very happy with a Toyota Highlander.
